Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Poluga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poluga comes to the cage accompanied by My Time Is Now . Chad Silver will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvis Poluga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Silver!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Silver lands with a shot to the body.
Silver misses with a low kick as Poluga jumps back.
Silver is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Poluga.
Silver takes a swing at Poluga's ribcage but misses.
Silver throws and low kick but Poluga moves out of range easily.
Chad Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poluga was well out of range. Poor timing from Silver.
Poluga throws a hook but Silver blocks it.

Poluga looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Poluga is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silver has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silver!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Elvis Poluga.

Silver throws a nice looking combination but Poluga bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silver throws a looping overhand right but Poluga ducks down to avoid it.
Silver scores with the left hand. Poluga knows he should have avoided that one.
Poluga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silver but Silver pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd cheers as Silver lands an impressive looking overhand right. Poluga doesn't seem phased though.

Silver scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Poluga fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poluga uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silver.

and Poluga counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silver's guard now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silver avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Poluga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silver avoids it really well and circles away.

Silver jabs Poluga right on the nose. Poluga blinks but takes it well.
Silver connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silver lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Silver moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silver moves out of range of the body kick from Poluga.

Poluga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silver was covering up waiting for the punch and Poluga finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Poluga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Elvis Poluga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Poluga, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
