The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marin closes the distance and pushes Fernandez back into the cage.
Marin breaks the clinch.
Marin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fernandez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fernandez is trying to control the position but Marin postures up.
Fernandez looking for a guillotine here but Marin defends easily.
Fernandez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fernandez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marin defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fernandez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Marin is looking to defend but Fernandez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Marin! Fernandez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Marin taps out and this one is all over!
