Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Atom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen Marvelous as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Black was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Atom.
Atom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but Atom persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.
Atom tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Atom. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Atom scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Black throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is trying to buck Atom off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Atom postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Atom tries for a kimura but Black is defending well.
Black is trying to improve his position.

Atom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Atom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Atom tries to advance to mount but Black denies him.
Black is trying to control Atom's posture but Atom avoids it.

Black gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Atom is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Black has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Atom is breathing heavily.
Black really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Atom thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Black tries to hold on but Atom postures up.
Atom lands a big elbow.
Atom thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Black is trying to escape the mount.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Atom has control of Black's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Black regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Atom goes for an armbar but Black turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Black.

Atom has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Black should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Atom has tightened it up now! Black should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
