Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Dzagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knox is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Paint It Black By The Rolling Stones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Knox!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzagoev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knox manages to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Dzagoev.
Dzagoev fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Knox connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Knox shoots in looking for a takedown. Dzagoev tries to sprawl out of it but Knox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dzagoev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Knox takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Knox closes the distance and clinches up with Dzagoev, looking for a takedown. Knox pushes Dzagoev against the cage but Dzagoev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knox. Dzagoev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knox drops his hands momentarily and Dzagoev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knox takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
