Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Pace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Pace sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pace tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Silva clinches up with Pace and pushes him back against the cage.
Silva trying to stall but Pace improves his position.
Silva with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Silva lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Silva connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Mark Pace has been cut.
Pace tries for a takedown. No joy.

Pace gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Silva works his way to full guard. Good work.
Pace works over Silva with some ground and pound from guard.
Pace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva wriggles free and stands up.
Pace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pace working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Silva gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Silva is looking to improve his position.

Pace throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Pace scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Silva is trying to stand up here but Pace is controlling him well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
