Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickhard Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Hunt will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rickhard Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hunt misses with a few strikes there.
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hunt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hunt tries to strike from the bottom.
Smith throws a strike but Hunt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hunt trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt tries to stand but Smith is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hunt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smith on the side of the head.

It looks like Rickhard Smith has been cut.
Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Smith throws a lazy right hand but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hunt doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Hunt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
Hunt fails with the takedown
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hunt looks gassed!
Hunt misses with a double jab
and Smith counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fighters circling - Hunt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Smith misses.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Smith is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hunt looks calm but he's in trouble here. Smith gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hunt is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Smith lets go of the hold and Hunt can pop his arm back in it's socket.
