The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo tries to clinch up but Vasquez circles away and keeps his distance.
Vasquez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vasquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ronaldo swivels and escapes.
Vasquez scores with a nice strike.
Vasquez misses with a low kick.
Vasquez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vinciusz Ronaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Vasquez.

Vasquez instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ronaldo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vasquez blocks it with crossed arms.
Vasquez throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Ronaldo blocks the elbow strike.
Ronaldo lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Roger Vasquez has been cut.
Vasquez fails to pull guard.
Vasquez tries to pull guard but Ronaldo holds him up against the cage and eventually Vasquez drops back down to his feet.
Ronaldo tries to land a knee to the head but Vasquez blocks with his arms.
Ronaldo lands a big knee! That's hurt Vasquez! Oh, he's all over the place! Ronaldo lands another knee that sends Vasquez to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
