Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Syns Oiram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oiram comes to the cage accompanied by Let the Bodies hit the floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oiram looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oiram moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Harris fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oiram avoids it really well and circles away.
Harris has a takedown stuffed.
Syns Oiram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Harris.
Harris looks for a takedown but Oiram sprawls well.

Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Harris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oiram knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Harris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Oiram rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harris's guard! Nice work there by Oiram!
Oiram is in close to Harris's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Harris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Harris has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Oiram is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harris.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Harris manages to get back to half guard.

Oiram tries to stand but can't do so whilst Harris controls his leg.

Oiram avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harris wants to sweep but no luck.

Harris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Oiram defends well.

Harris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Oiram!

Harris is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Oiram to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Oiram shrugs it off.

Harris jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Oiram is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Oiram and Harris has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Harris works to advance to full mount. Oiram defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harris is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Oiram is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Oiram flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Harris anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Oiram and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Harris slips an arm under Oiram chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Harris has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Harris is squeezing on Oiram like an anaconda would it's prey. Oiram fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
