Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sue Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talafua Toluao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is A Boy Named Sue. The key to victory for Sue Carter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Talafua Toluao!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carter lands the left hand.
Toluao fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carter avoids it really well and circles away.
Carter listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Carter lands with a hook. Toluao tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Toluao fails with a takedown attempt.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Carter misses the target.
Carter throws out a loose jab but Toluao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toluao on the side of the head.

Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Toluao circles away.
Carter throws a hook but Toluao avoids it easily.
Carter throws a body punch but Toluao moves out of range.
Sue Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Carter scores with a hook to the body. Toluao takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Carter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Carter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carter takes a swing at Toluao's ribcage but misses.
Carter cracks Toluao with a good jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toluao.
Sue Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Talafua Toluao.
Carter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Toluao tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toluao drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Carter dives on top into guard.

Toluao is looking to sweep but instead, Carter has passed into half guard.
Carter wants to take a breather but Toluao is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carter is thwarting Toluao's attempts to control the position.
Toluao is in trouble now - Carter has advanced to mount!
Carter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Toluao tries to hold on but Carter postures up.
Carter thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Toluao is in a horrible position here. Carter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Toluao is working to get back to half guard.
Carter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sue Carter dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Carter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toluao on the side of the head.
Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sue Carter is winning the standup battle so far.
Toluao takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Toluao has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carter finds it's way round the side to connect with Toluao's head.
Carter lands with a hook. Toluao tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Toluao avoids the body shot from Carter.
Carter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Carter misses with a body punch
and Toluao decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard.

Toluao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Toluao must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carter is on top in guard.
Carter wants to pass the guard but Toluao is keeping the position.
Carter is fighting to break Toluao's control of his arms but Toluao is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Carter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Toluao wants to control but Carter postures up.
Toluao tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Toluao is looking to regain half guard here but Carter keeps moving and retains side control.
Toluao prevents Carter from moving into mount.
Carter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Toluao!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Toluao wants to hold on but Carter pushes him away.

Toluao is trying desperately to improve position.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Toluao tries to lock up and control but Carter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Toluao can't escape the position.
Carter loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Toluao scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Carter land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Carter stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sue Carter!
