The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips tries to clinch up but Grepp circles away and keeps his distance.

Grepp fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Phillips sprawls well initially but Grepp persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Phillips tries to kick Grepp off but Grepp keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Grepp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Phillips sees it coming and defends easily.
Phillips is not content to let Grepp control the position.

Grepp is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Phillips trying to hold on to Grepp's head to control him but Grepp postures up.
Phillips wants to get back to his feet.
Phillips keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Grepp seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Phillips is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
