Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Guttery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ikosin iko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

iko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Guttery is trying to keep iko in close.
iko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
iko tries to get back to half guard but can't.
iko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Guttery is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

iko stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Guttery to get to his feet.

iko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Guttery can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
iko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Guttery is trying to escape back to his feet but iko uses the scramble to pass into side control.
iko scores with a couple of short elbows.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

ikosin iko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

iko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guttery has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, iko has managed to get both his arms back between Guttery's legs - danger averted.

iko breaks from Guttery's wrist control and lands an elbow.

iko throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Guttery has his hands clasped together but iko breaks the hold and Guttery is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by iko!
