The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perez.
Reeves punishes Perez's body with a nice straight punch.
Reeves connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Reeves displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Perez.

Perez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perez misses with a takedown attempt - Reeves sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Norman Reeves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Perez.
Perez throws a head kick but Reeves moves out of range.
