Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Qadim Masri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid GNP (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masri jabbing away but nothing is landing.
GNP slips a straight right by Masri.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

GNP has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Masri fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. GNP looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

GNP ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
GNP moves out of range as Masri strikes.
GNP shoots in for a takedown but Masri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
GNP avoids a punch combination nicely.

GNP shoots in looking for a takedown. Masri tries to sprawl out of it but GNP keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

GNP has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
