The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gluhov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gluhov wants it to stay on the feet.

agaev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gluhov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
agaev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no agaev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
agaev is breathing heavily.
agaev goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gluhov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for agaev but great work by Gluhov.

Gluhov decides to stand up, so the ref orders agaev to his feet.
agaev fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gluhov looks to land a combination but agaev avoids it well.
agaev takes one to the chin there.

agaev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - agaev lands in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
agaev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gluhov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of agaev, into his guard.
Gluhov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gluhov connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent agaev tumbling to the canvas! Gluhov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! agaev was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Konstantin Gluhov!
