Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matiss Briedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Traktor Chain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Traktor Chain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matiss Briedis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Traktor Chain!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Chain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chain avoids the head kick by Briedis.
Chain tries to clinch there but Briedis circles away.
Chain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Briedis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Briedis pushes Chain off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Briedis is trying to drag Chain to the mat but Chain just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Briedis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Briedis manages to end up in side control.

Chain throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Chain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chain decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Briedis has Chain pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chain manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Chain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Briedis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chain can pounce on him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Traktor Chain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
