Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roz McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurgen Wolfenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfenstein has chosen "Sonne" by Rammstein as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurgen Wolfenstein!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfenstein doesn't manage to clinch there - McGregor circles away.
Wolfenstein tries to close the distance and clinch up but McGregor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wolfenstein throws out a loose jab but McGregor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wolfenstein fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGregor manages to avoid it.
Wolfenstein shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregor but McGregor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A combination from McGregor does no damage.
Wolfenstein tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McGregor takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

McGregor explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
McGregor avoids the head kick by Wolfenstein.
Jurgen Wolfenstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolfenstein fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wolfenstein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGregor tries to avoid it but Wolfenstein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGregor to the ground. McGregor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wolfenstein is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McGregor throws an elbow but it misses.
Wolfenstein changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGregor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roz McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jurgen Wolfenstein.

and McGregor counters with a lovely straight right hand!

McGregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wolfenstein circles away quickly and effectively.

McGregor is looking for a kimura but Wolfenstein is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGregor to get the leverage.
Wolfenstein tries to get to full guard but McGregor has control of the leg.
McGregor scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Wolfenstein is still in real trouble! Can McGregor finish him?

McGregor is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wolfenstein has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wolfenstein seems to have recovered his senses.
McGregor is trying to control. Wolfenstein wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGregor thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

McGregor scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Wolfenstein using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McGregor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wolfenstein is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from McGregor - that's hurt Wolfenstein badly! Oh, another knee lands and Wolfenstein is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Wolfenstein doesn't seem to be complaining.
