The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tsakada.
Tsakada will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tsakada throws a looping overhand right but Kvam ducks down to avoid it.
Tsakada scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tsakada misses with a looping left.
Kvam bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tsakada lands a really nice looking cross but Kvam seems unphased.
Kvam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kvam takes one to the side of the head.
Kvam shoots for a takedown but Tsakada saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kvam shoots in but Tsakada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kvam takes one to the chin there.
Lee Tsakada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tsakada lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Kvam displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tsakada throws out the jab.
Good shot there by Tsakada.
Horrible takedown by Kvam or perhaps it was just good defense by Tsakada which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kristoffer Kvam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kvam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tsakada defends it nicely.
Kvam fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kvam takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kvam throws a sloppy head kick and Tsakada moves out of range easily.
