Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Boot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Brunk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brunk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hukka Blues kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boot takes the fight into the clinch.
Boot wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Brunk goes for a takedown attempt but Boot pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Boot fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brunk sprawls well initially but Boot persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boot wants to pass the guard but Brunk is defending well.

Brunk is defending against the submission attempts here by Boot.
Boot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brunk on the ground.
Brunk trying to control but Boot postures up.
Boot throwing shots but Brunk is blocking nicely.

Brunk trying to control from the bottom.
Brunk works his way to full guard. Good work.
Boot trying to control the position from guard on top but Brunk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boot would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brunk avoids the body shot from Boot.
Boot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boot forces Brunk back against the cage and clinches.
Boot gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brunk.
Boot tries for a takedown but Brunk manages to get underhooks.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brunk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jerry Boot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Brunk.
Brunk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boot pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brunk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boot.
Boot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brunk tries to avoid it but Boot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brunk to the ground. Brunk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boot is breathing heavily.
Boot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boot tries to clinch but Brunk moves out of range.

Brunk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boot swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boot pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Boot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brunk to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Brunk trying to control the position from guard on top but Boot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brunk passes Boot's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Brunk passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boot!
Boot wants to get back to his feet.

Brunk swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
