The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Placido scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pasternach takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pasternach fails with the takedown.
Pasternach closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A jab from Placido does it's job there.
Pasternach has a takedown stuffed.
Placido looks to land a combination. Pasternach sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Pasternach fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Placido avoids it really well and circles away.
Ramon Placido has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aurelian Pasternach.
