Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Faber!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Durden is fending him off so far but Faber persists. Nope, Durden circles away and we're back to standing.
Faber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Faber fails with a takedown attempt.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Faber swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Durden lands a left and a right that send Faber crashing to the mat, dazed. Durden thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Don Faber has been cut.
Durden throws a combination that misses

and Faber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Durden won't be happy with that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Durden is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Faber off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Faber's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Durden controlling the position well here. Faber rolled but Durden kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Durden has the hooks in. Faber is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Durden will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Faber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Durden as he avoids it easily.

No joy there for Durden, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Faber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durden just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tyler Durden showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Durden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
