Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Balbacoa!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balbacoa tries for a takedown but Dudley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dudley keeps the fight on the outside.
Dudley throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dudley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dudley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dudley doesn't manage to clinch there - Balbacoa circles away.
Balbacoa fails with a takedown attempt.
Dudley drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dudley trying to control but Balbacoa is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dudley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Balbacoa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dudley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Balbacoa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dudley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Joe Dudley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balbacoa.
Dudley wants to stand but Balbacoa is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dudley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dudley stops Balbacoa from standing up.
Dudley wants to control from the top but Balbacoa keeps moving.
Balbacoa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Balbacoa can't keep his opponent in guard - Dudley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dudley is working for a submission of some sort.

Dudley drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dudley as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Balbacoa screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dudley! Nice submission victory there!
