The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cano.
Howard is looking to slow Cano down with leg kicks.
Javier Cano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard blocks a head kick by Cano.
Howard connects with a solid leg kick.
Cano looks gassed!
Howard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cano.

Howard drops Cano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cano looks back up at him and smiles so Howard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Javier Cano has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Howard flashes Cano a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Cano's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Cano crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Howard punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
