Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bart Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savinay Pillavino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pillavino has chosen Tere Bina as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pillavino throws a good cross that connects.
Ryan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ryan scores with a sloppy right hand. Pillavino should have avoided that one.
Pillavino looks to land a right hand but Ryan moved out of range.
Ryan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pillavino.
Pillavino throws an overhand right that lands on Ryan's shoulder, as Ryan tries to avoid the shot.
Pillavino fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ryan lands a jab to the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pillavino is refusing to be controlled, as Ryan sits in half guard.
Ryan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Pillavino has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ryan is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ryan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pillavino is trying to maintain the position but Ryan is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pillavino moves out of range as Ryan strikes.
Pillavino throws a looping overhand right but Ryan ducks down to avoid it.
Pillavino swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ryan.

Pillavino throws a punch but it's blocked by Ryan.

Ryan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ryan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pillavino with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pillavino is looking to improve his position.
Ryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pillavino does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ryan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bart Ryan.

Ryan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pillavino drops his hands momentarily and Ryan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pillavino might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ryan! Pillavino is out on his feet! Ryan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pillavino is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pillavino is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
