Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haywood Jablowme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haywood Jablowme has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sub Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haywood Jablowme!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jablowme misses with a looping right.
Zero takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zero is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jablowme sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jablowme gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jablowme manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zero is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jablowme is working for a guillotine from mount but Zero frees his head quite easily.

Jablowme is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zero can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jablowme wants to control but Zero is having none of it.

Zero makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zero.

That's time! Zero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Zero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jablowme sprawls well. Jablowme wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zero gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zero shoots for a double leg takedown but Jablowme sprawls well. He's pushed Zero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zero shoots in but Jablowme avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Zero or perhaps it was just good defense by Jablowme which made him look bad.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

and Zero counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jablowme is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Zero drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zero jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zero is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jablowme is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jablowme has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jablowme is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zero is on top in guard.
Jablowme has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zero is pushing down on Jablowme's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jablowme is fighting to maintain full guard but Zero has managed to sneak the leg through.
Zero is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jablowme is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zero pulls his head out easily.
Zero seems to be working for a kimura but Jablowme defends the submission attempt.

Zero looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jablowme has his foot on Zero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zero works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zero postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jablowme is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zero, into his guard.
