And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Brookins!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brookins shoots in and bounces Wigfield off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wigfield looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Brookins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wigfield is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Brookins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Wigfield takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Brookins has picked Wigfield up - he's going for a ride! Brookins dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Brookins is looking for a kimura but Wigfield is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brookins to get the leverage.

Josh Brookins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brookins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Josh Brookins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brookins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
