Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Ronstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grzegorz Rakieta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakieta thows a body shot but no joy.
Ronstar scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ronstar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rakieta finds it's way round the side to connect with Ronstar's head.
Ronstar looks for a takedown but Rakieta sprawls well.
Rakieta throws a looping overhand right but Ronstar ducks down to avoid it.
Ronstar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rakieta tries a head kick but it misses.

Ronstar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ronstar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rakieta defends it well.
Ronstar thows a huge punch but Rakieta dodges it nicely.

Ronstar tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Rakieta.
Rakieta is refusing to be controlled, as Ronstar sits in half guard.

Ronstar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rakieta is just riding it out for now. Ronstar eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ronstar is looking to take a break and control but Rakieta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rakieta kicks off Ronstar and gets to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ronstar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rakieta sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ronstar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rakieta connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Rakieta moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Ronstar goes down! Can Rakieta finish him!?
Ronstar is breathing heavily.
Rakieta won't allow Ronstar to sweep him here.
Rakieta wants to stand but Ronstar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ronstar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rakieta is one step ahead there.

Rakieta gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ronstar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rakieta is fending him off so far but Ronstar persists. Nope, Rakieta circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Ronstar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ronstar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grzegorz Rakieta dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ronstar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rakieta chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rakieta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ronstar moves away.
Rakieta throws a series of punches but Ronstar moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rakieta.
Rakieta lands the left hand.
Rakieta works Ronstar's body with a nice hook.
Ronstar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Rakieta and Ronstar goes tumbling to the canvas! Rakieta follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Ronstar is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rakieta decides to stand and escape the position.
Oh Ronstar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rakieta fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ronstar.
Ronstar seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rakieta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rakieta leaves Ronstar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Grzegorz Rakieta seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Rakieta takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rakieta throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ronstar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rakieta steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ronstar is out on his feet! Rakieta sets himself and nearly takes Ronstar's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
