Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stu Pidasso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamato Damashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pidasso comes to the cage accompanied by Lollipop Remix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Damashii is defended easily by Pidasso.

and Damashii counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damashii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Damashii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pidasso swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pidasso is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Damashii is just riding it out for now. Pidasso eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Stu Pidasso will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Damashii shoots in looking for a takedown. Pidasso tries to sprawl out of it but Damashii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pidasso manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Damashii shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pidasso is trying to defend but Damashii finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
