The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson scores with a leg kick.

Robinson has Hardy II up against the cage in a clinch.
Robinson looking for a takedown.
Robinson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Robinson pulls guard successfully.
Robinson can't keep his opponent in guard - Hardy II advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hardy II is keen to just control but Robinson is a slippery customer.

Robinson has one foot on Hardy II's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Robinson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Robinson is looking to work some ground and pound but Hardy II has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardy II escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Robinson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hardy II is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hardy II is trying to hold Robinson in close to prevent damage but Robinson has managed to pass into half guard.

Hardy II pushes Robinson off looking to stand but Robinson dives back in and keeps control.
Robinson wants to pass the guard but Hardy II is defending well.
Hardy II gets back to full guard.
Hardy II lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Robinson!

Hardy II stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Hardy II misses with a series of wild punches.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Robinson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hardy II has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hardy II and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Robinson is looking to slow Hardy II down with leg kicks.
Pistol Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson dives in and grabs Hardy II's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hardy II pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
James Hardy II has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pistol Robinson.

Robinson is trying to land a reversal but Hardy II doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle.
