Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawrence comes to the ring accompanied by MAO~. Alves has chosen Ultimate Victory as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Marcus Lawrence has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcus Lawrence seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Lawrence. Alves does a little dance to reset his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Lawrence 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lawrence slips a jab from Alves.
Alves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lawrence pinned against the cage. Lawrence gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Renato Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alves tests Lawrence's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lawrence feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lawrence fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alves manages to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcus Lawrence will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Alves sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Alves is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lawrence to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lawrence shrugs it off.
