Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Slutskaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Spencer.
Slutskaya tries to improve position but can't.
Spencer tries to advance to mount but can't.
Spencer is putting a hurting on Slutskaya here, landing some big shots from side control.

Spencer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Slutskaya rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Spencer's guard! Nice work there by Slutskaya!
Spencer controls Slutskaya momentarily but Slutskaya frees himself.
Spencer wants to sweep here but Slutskaya controlling him for the moment.

Spencer looking for a guillotine here but Slutskaya defends easily.
Slutskaya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spencer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slutskaya trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom.

Spencer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Slutskaya is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spencer.

Slutskaya is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spencer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Spencer is looking for a sweep.

Slutskaya goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Spencer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Slutskaya but great work by Spencer.

Spencer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slutskaya is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Spencer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Spencer shoots in and bounces Slutskaya off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Spencer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Slutskaya knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Slutskaya wants to improve his position but Spencer is controlling well.
Slutskaya moves into full guard.
Spencer advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spencer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Slutskaya doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Spencer.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Spencer seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Slutskaya has recovered full guard.

Slutskaya has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Spencer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Slutskaya has tightened it up now! Spencer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
