Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 'Trapped Under Ice' by Metallica. Eddie Brooks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Eddie Brooks has been cut.
Brooks staying out of range there.
Anderson slips under a jab from Brooks.
Jeff Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brooks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anderson throws out the jab.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Brooks does a little dance to reset his feet.
A swing and a miss from Brooks.
Anderson thows a body shot but no joy.
Brooks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Anderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Brooks walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brooks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anderson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A combination from Anderson does no damage.
Anderson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice shot lands for Anderson.

Brooks is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brooks loses concentration momentarily and Anderson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Brooks crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Anderson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
