PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Woopass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the ring accompanied by Act a Fool - Ludacris. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woopass takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Tyson has closed the distance and engaged Woopass in a clinch.
Woopass tries for a takedown. No joy.
Tyson stops a takedown attempt from Woopass.
Tyson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Woopass backwards.
Woopass takes a shot to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Tyson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Woopass goes for a takedown attempt but Tyson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Muhammad Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Woopass.

Woopass shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tyson's guard.

Woopass is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tyson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tyson has escaped and now he's on top!

Woopass has his foot on Tyson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyson works his way back into a safe position though.
Woopass looks gassed!

Tyson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Woopass, up you get!

Tyson closes the distance and clinches.
Tyson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tyson trying to control the position but instead, Woopass has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tyson into the ropes.

Tyson gets control of Woopass's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tyson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Woopass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tyson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Woopass has managed to get both his arms back between Tyson's legs - danger averted.

Woopass is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tyson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tyson has escaped and now he's on top!

Woopass looking for a guillotine here but Tyson defends easily.

Woopass has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tyson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Woopass.

Tyson is trying to get an arm triangle but Woopass is defending well.

Tyson decides to stand back up.
Woopass shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyson sprawls well. Tyson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Woopass gets slowly back to his feet.

and Woopass counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tyson!
Tyson wants to hold on but Woopass pushes him away.

Woopass jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tyson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tyson and Woopass has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Woopass goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tyson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Woopass but great work by Tyson.
Tyson gets to mount! Woopass was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

You can see the frustration on Woopass's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
