Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

D has taken the fight to the clinch.
D presses rodrigo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
D swings wildly with an uppercut but rodrigo uses good head movement to avoid it.

rodrigo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
D scores with a hook to the body. rodrigo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A combination from D does no damage.
D sizes up rodrigo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

rodrigo is trying to stick to D's back but D is turning into rodrigo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in rodrigo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by D.
