Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Up Lok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lok closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lok lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lok looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. North swivels though and keeps the full guard.
North wants to stand up but Lok is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

North lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

North swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lok.

Lok tries to close the distance and clinch but North swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lok crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from North - the referee stops the clock and Lok gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says North. Lok manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
