The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from van Shrike, right into the meat.
Nakamura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by van Shrike.
Nakamura throws a right and a left that van Shrike avoids nicely.

Nakamura takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nakamura walks forward, straight into a front kick from van Shrike.
van Shrike moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for van Shrike.
van Shrike throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nakamura.

It looks like Kazuya Nakamura has been cut.

Kazuya Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakamura throws a right hand that van Shrike ducks under and follows up with a left that van Shrike also avoids with ease.
