Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Danny Storm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm misses with a series of wild punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lesnar manages to pull guard.
Storm would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Storm slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Storm landing strikes.

Storm stands up.
Storm misses with a takedown attempt - Lesnar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Storm wants to clinch but Lesnar slips to the side

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Storm won't be happy with that.
Storm is pushing Lesnar's head away, looking to escape. Lesnar manages to hold on to the position though.
Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Storm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Storm is pushing Lesnar's head away, looking to escape. Lesnar manages to hold on to the position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Lesnar drives through and clinches with Storm against the cage.

Storm is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lesnar is defending well for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Storm has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lesnar lands a takedown into guard.

Storm has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lesnar off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Lesnar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Good leg kick by Storm there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lesnar drives through with a takedown into guard.

Storm pushes Lesnar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lesnar has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Storm regains guard immediately.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lesnar wants the takedown. Storm is fighting it off but Lesnar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Storm's guard against the cage.

You get the feeling that Storm really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Lesnar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Storm is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Lesnar goes for an armbar but Storm turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Storm.
Storm throws and elbow that misses. Lesnar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Storm's guard. Nice move by Lesnar!
Danny Storm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Paul Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
