Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
joe has closed the distance and engaged Tribbett in a clinch.
joe goes for a takedown attempt but Tribbett pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
joe swings for the body but Tribbett moves out of range.
joe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tribbett's head backwards.
Tribbett throws a sloppy head kick and joe moves out of range easily.
joe clinches.
joe digs a right hand into Tribbett's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Tribbett's gas tank.
joe pulls guard.
joe trying to control the position.
Tribbett stands and steps away. joe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
joe shoots in for a takedown but Tribbett shows good takedown defense.
joe drives through with a takedown into guard.
joe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Tribbett manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

joe tries to lock up and control but Tribbett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tribbett is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tribbett extends the arm and joe is forced to tap!
