The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Blaze working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Blaze throwing shots but Xanther Xaimoungkhoun is blocking nicely.
Blaze thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Xanther Xaimoungkhoun to regain full guard.
Blaze is looking to work some ground and pound but Xanther Xaimoungkhoun has wrist control.
Blaze works over Xanther Xaimoungkhoun with some ground and pound from guard.
Blaze tries to free his leg and advance position but Xanther Xaimoungkhoun is retaining full guard.
Blaze is in close to Xanther Xaimoungkhoun's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Blaze makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Xanther Xaimoungkhoun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blaze stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Xanther Xaimoungkhoun throws up his legs and catches Blaze in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Blaze tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Xanther Xaimoungkhoun! That came out of nowhere!
