Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Damascus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Foote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Damascus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to seek n strike - soulfly. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damascus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Damascus throws a head kick but Foote moves out of range.
Foote displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Damascus throws out the jab.
Foote takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Damascus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Damascus throws a head kick that misses.
Alex Damascus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foote throws a front kick aimed at Damascus's knee but Damascus avoids it well.
Foote misses the jab.
Damascus throws a body punch but Foote moves out of range.
Damascus throws the left hand but Foote avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Damascus wants to clinch.

Foote fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Foote has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Damascus tries to hold on but Foote postures up.

Foote postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Damascus looks a forlorn figure.

Foote softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Damascus is out cold! Foote jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
