The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thang has closed the distance and engaged Knight in a clinch.
Thang throws an elbow but it misses.
Thang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Kevin Knight has been cut.
Thang misses with an elbow over the top.
Thang keeps control of Knight as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
With the fighters up against the cage, Thang throws an elbow but misses.
Thang pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Thang lands a nice elbow.
Knight blocks the elbow strike.
Knight tries to break the clinch but Thang is controlling the position.

A frustrated look appears on Knight's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Knight has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Thang uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Thang controls the pace.

Thang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
