Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth McGoldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth McGoldstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Smith!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGoldstein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smith misses with a takedown

and McGoldstein counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Smith kicks off McGoldstein and gets to his feet.

Smith moves into the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Smith as McGoldstein tries to tie him up.
Smith has McGoldstein pressed against the cage.
McGoldstein is looking to control Smith's arms but Smith gets an underhook and turns him. Now McGoldstein has his back to the cage.
Smith tries to pull guard but McGoldstein holds him up against the cage and eventually Smith drops back down to his feet.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
McGoldstein shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Smith clinches but McGoldstein breaks the clinch

so McGoldstein counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGoldstein drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGoldstein jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Smith working a defensive guard but McGoldstein passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGoldstein prevents Smith from standing back up.

McGoldstein wants to take a breather but Smith is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

McGoldstein gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Smith wants to break the clinch but can't.
Smith tries to pull guard but McGoldstein won't allow it.
Kenneth McGoldstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neil Smith.
McGoldstein tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smith smiles and moves away.
McGoldstein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

McGoldstein wants to control but Smith is having none of it.
McGoldstein is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Smith looking to finish with strikes here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith punching from mount but McGoldstein doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Smith is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McGoldstein can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
McGoldstein really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Smith tries to control but McGoldstein wriggling away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McGoldstein tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away.

McGoldstein is working hard here to advance position.
Smith cracks McGoldstein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Smith throwing strikes here but McGoldstein is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
McGoldstein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Smith looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
McGoldstein tries to improve his position but instead Smith has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenneth McGoldstein will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Smith throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGoldstein moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Smith gets to his feet. McGoldstein looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and McGoldstein counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smith!

Smith bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Smith stands up from McGoldstein's guard - Smith perhaps looking for a knockout.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGoldstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neil Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A right handed body shot lands from McGoldstein.

McGoldstein ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McGoldstein no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGoldstein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smith wanted to stand there but McGoldstein had control of the position.

Smith slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Smith won't allow McGoldstein to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McGoldstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neil Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
