Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuya Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henery Phooey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phooey has chosen Hong Kong Phooey Them Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nakamura just misses with a punch to the body.
Nakamura connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Phooey has managed to clinch.
Phooey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nakamura tries to bum rush Phooey with a series of wild strikes but Phooey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nakamura misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Nakamura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nakamura misses with a wild combination.
Phooey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Phooey has closed the distance and engaged Nakamura in a clinch.
Nakamura misses with a hook from the clinch.
Phooey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Nakamura. That snapped Phooey's head back.
Phooey lands with a kick to the temple. Nakamura shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nakamura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Phooey.
Nakamura stalks Phooey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Phooey's face. Phooey staggers backwards, shaken.
Phooey drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phooey pushing down on Nakamura's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Nakamura has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Phooey escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Phooey!
Phooey stands up and beckons Nakamura to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakamura throws a series of punches but Phooey moves out of range.
Phooey scores with a takedown into Nakamura's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phooey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nakamura, up you get!
Phooey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Phooey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nakamura thuds his right hand into Phooey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nakamura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nakamura paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nakamura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Phooey counters with a body kick that stops Nakamura in his tracks momentarily.
Nakamura is breathing heavily.

and Phooey counters by moving into the clinch.
Nakamura takes an elbow to the temple.
Phooey blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nakamura can't find room to land a body shot as Phooey controls the action.
The referee calls for Phooey to work.
Phooey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick from Phooey lands but Nakamura takes it in his stride.
Nakamura misses with a double jab
and Phooey counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nakamura scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Phooey doesn't seem bothered though.
Phooey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakamura throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Phooey counters with a shoot takedown. Nakamura fights it but they end up in guard.
Nakamura is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Phooey rolls with it to try and escape but Nakamura cranks on the arm and Phooey is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
