Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Arrington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Van damm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arrington comes into the arena with Look What The Cat Dragged In blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van damm throws a body punch but Arrington moves out of range.

and Van damm counters with a head kick. That will keep Arrington thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Arrington throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Van damm sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Van damm shoots in looking for a takedown. Arrington tries to sprawl out of it but Van damm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Arrington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
