Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Z Pryde Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes to the cage accompanied by Grandmas house. Z Pryde Simmons has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Z Pryde Simmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Dinero!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dinero.
Dinero checks the leg kick.
Simmons looks to throw the jab but Dinero is out of range.
Simmons takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dinero shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dinero was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dinero is working for a guillotine from mount but Simmons frees his head quite easily.

Dinero goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Simmons turns into him and now he's in Dinero's guard.

Dinero has his foot on Simmons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Simmons works his way back into a safe position though.

Simmons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dinero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Simmons has managed to get both his arms back between Dinero's legs - danger averted.

Simmons drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Simmons jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Simmons is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dinero looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Dinero looks gassed!
Simmons passes to full mount!
Simmons wants to control the pace but Dinero is squirming around nicely.
Simmons manages to capitalize on a mistake by Dinero to take his back!
Dinero wants to escape the position.

Simmons is looking for the choke from the back position but Dinero is controlling his hands well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Simmons doesn't have the hooks in and Dinero manages to turn into his guard.
Dinero trying to control but Simmons is working from the bottom.
Dinero might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Simmons kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Dinero advances position into side control!

Dinero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Simmons is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Dinero stalling away here and it's allowed Simmons to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Dinero wants to control from the top but Simmons keeps moving.

Dinero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Simmons's guard.
Dinero trying to control the action but Simmons is working from the bottom.

Dinero is working for a submission of some sort.

Simmons looking for submissions off his back.

Simmons is defending against the submission attempts here by Dinero.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dinero is stalling here. Simmons is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dinero seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Simmons has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Dinero manages to work his way to half guard, despite Simmons's best efforts.

Simmons is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dinero has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dinero moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dinero keeping moving, preventing Simmons from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Simmons misses the shot to the body.
Dinero lands a nice shot that snaps Simmons's head back.

Dinero closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Simmons did well to prevent Dinero getting side control.
Dinero is keen to just control but Simmons is a slippery customer.
Simmons wants to improve his position but Dinero is controlling well.
Simmons wants to get back to his feet.

Dinero is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Simmons sees it coming and defends easily.
Simmons is in trouble now - Dinero has advanced to mount!

Dinero has control of Simmons's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Simmons regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dinero swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Simmons is now in Dinero's guard. A big mistake from Dinero there, giving up the dominant position!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Simmons is looking to work some ground and pound but Dinero has wrist control.
Dinero looking for a sweep. Not yet Dinero, not yet.

Dinero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Simmons defends it easily.
Simmons won't allow Dinero to sweep him here.
Simmons has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Simmons works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Simmons is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dinero works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dinero controls Simmons momentarily but Simmons frees himself.

Dinero is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Simmons has his hands clasped together but Dinero extends an breaks Simmons's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dinero.
