Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Fedor Entrance Song . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Eugene Bradley Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Davis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis slips a straight right by Burns.
A nice combination there by Davis.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Davis throws a series of punches but Burns avoids them all with ease.
Davis stuffs the takedown attempt from Burns. Burns gets slowly back to his feet.
Burns looks to land a left hand but Davis moved out of range nicely.
Davis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Burns finds it's way round the side to connect with Davis's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.
Davis throws a looping overhand right but Burns ducks down to avoid it.
Burns misses with a combination
and Davis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Davis misses the jab.
Davis falls off balance throwing a combination

so Burns counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burns in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Davis keeping moving, preventing Burns from controlling successfully.
Burns throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis pulls Burns in to control the position.
Burns looking to pass the guard.
Davis keeping moving, preventing Burns from controlling successfully.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Davis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A punch combination from Burns misses.
Davis scores with a body shot.
Davis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Burns uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Davis.
Burns moves out of range of the body kick.
Davis throws a leg kick
letting Burns counter with a right hand.
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis lands with a straight right. Burns didn't see that one coming.
Burns misses with an uppercut. Davis saw that one coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roman Davis dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Davis counters with a one-two to the body.
Burns throws an overhand right that lands on Davis's shoulder, as Davis tries to avoid the shot.
Burns lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Davis throws a jab but it's blocked by Burns.
Burns tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily
and Davis counters with a nice uppercut.
Burns blocks a jab.

Davis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Davis looks to land a combination. Burns sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burns.
Roman Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Burns fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Davis on the side of the head.
Davis looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Davis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burns.

Davis lands with a shot to the body.
Burns misses with a head kick.
Burns fails with the takedown
and Davis counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eugene Bradley Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Davis counters with an outside leg kick.

A nice combination there by Burns.
Davis throws a jab but it's blocked by Burns.
Burns fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Burns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burns gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Davis counters with a right hand to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Burns jabs at Davis's body.
Roman Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burns with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Davis to score with a decent uppercut.
Burns moves away from the strike by Davis.
Davis throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roman Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Davis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis throws a hook but Burns blocks it.
Burns throws a right and a left that both miss.

Davis connects with a solid leg kick.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Davis thuds his shin into the meat of Burns's side.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burns tries to clinch up
and Burns takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Davis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Roman Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A big left from Davis misses.
Nice straight punches there by Burns. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Burns.

Burns gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Davis counters with a two punch combo.
Some wild striking there from Davis.
Davis works over Burns's head and body with a nice combination.
Davis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Burns with a poor takedown
and Davis counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eugene Bradley Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis avoids the body shot from Burns.
Burns tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily
and Davis counters with a flying knee. Nice.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis walks into a jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Burns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Davis counters with a one-two to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roman Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Davis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
