The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Barkley throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Steele rushes Barkley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Steele lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short right from Steele on the inside.
Steele throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short body shot lands from Steele as the two fighters clinch.
Steele working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Steele just leaning against Barkley, taking a breather.
Steele lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Steele throws a head punch that misses.
Steele lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Steele pushes Barkley back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barkley tries to pull guard but Steele won't allow it.
Steele lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barkley takes a shot to the head.

Steele presses Barkley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Barkley is breathing heavily.
Steele lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Barkley is working for takedown but Steele is calmly controlling the position for now.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Steele.
Steele stalls.
Steele lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Barkley is rocked!
Steele creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Barkley with a big uppercut! Barkley tries to clinch up but Steele pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Barkley to the mat! Barkley covers up and Steele unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
