Houser has chosen Hackensaw Boys-Keep it simple as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Houser counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Houser comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Houser.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Houser.
Houser steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alves.
Alves goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Houser throws a sloppy head kick and Alves moves out of range easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alves displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Houser.
