The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Meningitis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A left and a right from Rossi both land. Nice combination.
Rossi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rossi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Meningitis doesn't seem bothered though.
Meningitis takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rossi misses with a head kick.
Meningitis has a takedown stuffed.
Michael Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rossi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Meningitis on the side of the head.
Meningitis shoots in for a takedown but Rossi shows good takedown defense.
Michael Rossi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tuberculo Meningitis.
Rossi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Rossi. No joy for Meningitis on that attempt.
Meningitis looks gassed!
Meningitis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rossi defends it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meningitis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

A slapping body kick lands there for Rossi.
Rossi throws out a powerful jab.

Meningitis is rocked!
Rossi lands with a right and another and another! Meningitis is in big trouble! Rossi lands again and this time it's lights out for Meningitis! A quality knockout there for Rossi.
