And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dorh.

Dorh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dorh looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Louza takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Louza gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Louza trying to control but Dorh postures up.

Dorh seems to be working for a kimura but Louza defends the submission attempt.
Louza is trying to get back to full guard.

Dorh works his way into side control.

Dorh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dorh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Louza tries to buck Dorh off but Dorh is having none of it.

Louza is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dorh off and has taken his back!

Louza is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dorh breaks Louza's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Dorh drops back looking for a leg! Louza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Louza manages to kick Dorh off! Dorh jumps back into Louza's guard.

Louza is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dorh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Louza looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Louza looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Louza!

Dorh is looking to reverse the position.
Louza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dorh keeps working.
Dorh is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dorh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Louza paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Louza misses with a takedown attempt
and Dorh counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Louza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Louza has his takedown stuffed

and Dorh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dorh is looking to work some ground and pound but Louza has wrist control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dorh trying to control the position from guard on top but Louza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dorh drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dorh seems to have locked his on tight now - Louza screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dorh, as he picks up the win!
