The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A head kick misses from Ironside.
A lazy left from Ironside finds it's target.
Machado misses the jab.

Ironside lands a left and a right that send Machado crashing to the mat, dazed. Ironside thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Rigan Machado has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circling - Ironside throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Machado goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ironside rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Machado 's guard! Nice work there by Ironside!

Ironside stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
